9:15 AM · Nov 26, 2022	Update on ascendance of a bookworm, I've now finished all of part 3, so I've read 12 books in total now lol.
9:15 AM · Nov 26, 2022	I've really been enjoying them so far, and the number of plot threads just keeps increasing! It's been a while since I've really enjoyed a series like this. The next arc is the Royal Academy arc, so I do wonder how the school setting will change things.
9:31 AM · Nov 28, 2022	Okay the Royal Academy arc is hilarious(I'm 2 volumes in), it's just a comedy of errors regarding Myne's social skills. The worst part is I don't necessarily always see where she's going wrong, so her getting lectured afterwards feels like it hits close to home lol.

10:23 AM · Nov 29, 2022	New thread for Ascendance of a Bookworm part 4: I haven't slept that well the last couple of days since I've been reading non-stop. I finished volume 3 yesterday, which basically finishes up Rozemyne's first year at the academy.
10:23 AM · Nov 29, 2022	The separation from her family is finalized, and now she doesn't have anyone to rely on emotionally :(. I'm excited to see how she'll develop her social skills from here on out, including her book rampages

7:32 PM · Dec 4, 2022	I'm now on part 4 volume 7 (almost done) and all the plot details are starting to add up. And the bigger picture is that there's a disaster coming in the plot. I wonder if Myne will somehow end up ruler of the country lol.
8:49 AM · Dec 5, 2022	SPOILERS FOR 4.8 Learning about Ferdinand's true backstory, and that he doesn't think anything about his own happiness purely based on the request of the 1 person who happened to save him when he was little was so heartbreaking.
8:49 AM · Dec 5, 2022	SPOILERS FOR 4.8 Myne prioritizing Ferdinand's happiness and promising (threatening) to wage war to save him, and him begrudgingly understanding how much he's loved had me bawling. I just wanna give the poor guy a hug
9:15 AM · Dec 6, 2022	I finished off part 4 volume 9, and I'm still destroyed emotionally. 😭😭😭 FERDINAND WHY!!!? Seeing him and Myne exchange such heartfelt farewell gifts, they truly do love each other even if they don't know it yet.

2	12/6/2022, 10:46:04 AM	I was thinking about this since I'm already spoiled that Ferdi/Myne is sort of endgame, this separation is going to be important in distancing current Myne from "child I must protect" idea that Ferdinand currently has.
3	12/6/2022, 10:46:06 AM	She was always going to be his equal, but her growth will cement that if Ferdi doesn't see her for a while. Also, I just started 5.1 and Hildebrand's crush on Myne and his jealousy towards Wilfried is SO FUNNY AND CUTE 🥺.
4	12/6/2022, 10:46:08 AM	Another thought, Wilfried has put in the least work when it comes to gaining any affection from Myne, he just assumes it'll go well since he's already engaged. I'm glad that Hildebrand is at least putting forth the effort.
5	12/6/2022, 10:46:10 AM	Ferdinand has literally been granting Myne's 'selfish wants' since day 1, the other dudes don't have a single chance 😅. And all of her retainers agree that she cares about him more than any other noble they know.
6	12/7/2022, 1:56:10 PM	Alright I've finished 5.1, now to suffer while I wait for further books to come out now.... I'm all caught up to Ascendance of a Bookworm! 5.1 was about Myne's 3rd year in school, and the comedy of happenstances continues.
7	12/7/2022, 1:56:13 PM	I would argue that half of these aren't her fault though, and she does try very hard to keep it together 😅. People are just falling in love with her all over the place, and it's very funny to see how much she's not noticing.
8	12/7/2022, 1:56:15 PM	The plot also continues to get thicker, as bigger pieces start moving and changing around her. It's inevitable that Myne will get wrapped up in these large scale political conflicts down the road.
9	12/7/2022, 1:56:18 PM	I'm gonna pre-purchase the next volume so I can read the pre-pub translations, though I'll probably take a bit of a break since I've been reading for 2 months straight haha.
10	12/29/2022, 1:11:08 PM	I've finished reading the pre-pubs for 5.2, and seeing Rozemyne smoke Lestilaut in a cage match is downright hilarious. Headache reports continue to be funny for readers and downright painful for the characters involved.
11	12/29/2022, 1:13:06 PM	Myne still has 3 years left of the Royal Academy, and it took 11 books to cover the first 3 years. There are only 10 books left for the entire main series, so I'm guessing the rest of the Academy years aren't going to go as planned.
12	12/29/2022, 1:13:08 PM	Things are probably going to start changing drastically starting in 5.3, so I'm excited to see where the series goes next.
